Neku has this thing called a Player Pin. The rundown of what it does:

1.) Neku now has privacy breaking mind reading powers. This only works when he's activating the pin. Basically, Neku will be able to read surface thoughts, but only if he wants to do it. This is not something that's constantly on, and for a while it'll probably freak him out too much to use on any regular basis. (i'm debating whether or not to put up a general permissions post on this-- what do you all think?)

2.) Neku is now immune to having his thoughts read or influenced by other psychic sources, so long as he is wearing the pin.

3.) Eventually, Neku will figure out how to use the pin to 'imprint' a word or phrase onto other people. Basically, said word or phrase gets shoved into their head as a kind of 'aha!' moment.

1 & 3 are the ones I need permissions for! If you are ok with/want Neku reading your character's thoughts and or imprinting on them, let me know here!

1. Chris is currently human, but she has a machine's soul (a "spark"). Given that her MIND is still human, he can probably still read her for now. Once she's not anymore... well.

Considering canon, and some of the things I put in the app, it would be fairly silly of me to say no to 1), for Fred. 3) is fine as well, as long as it's fairly minor and/or subtle.

Come to think of it, the same goes for Sarah, too. Knock yourself out, just not too hard.

1 & 3. For now, go for it. HOWEVER, when Miranda echoes a Reyvateil body (which won't be for a long time) or mind structure (which would probably come first, in all likelihood) she also gets this thing called a Mind Guardian that will block attempts to do this. Technically the ability of a Mind Guardian to do something like that is headcanon, but a Mind Guardian's usual purpose is to facilitate Diving (in which someone else enters a Reyvateil*'s mind), thought-reading and imprinting would likely be considered some sort of unauthorized access and be blocked.

*Theoretically it is possible to Dive into a human if you have his or her specific mental map

For Aaron/Aragorn elfstoned and Mamoru/Ichigo, I as a player am fine with 1 and 3, though I can't promise the characters will be as happy if they find out. Thanks~

One is fine with me right now! In the future, as she gets her echoes and starts remembering who she was, all I would ask is for forewarning/perhaps a bit of preplanned plotting since we both know how insane Xion's not!life was.

Three is also fine as long as it's something small. Anything, you know, life changing we could just talk through prior.
